I can't get my scraps working properly for some reason and completely lost what i just submitted so i guess no more scraps folder for me...

Anyway, this is a work in progress still sketchy and all. Any crits, ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. Also, is it too dark?

maybe yes it's a bit too dark, it's hard to see the subject of the picture. maybe it's a bit better in full view but still too dark for me

I'm waiting for the final work :)

It's a bit too dark as it is now, but as I've seen you use a clear highlight (like on the guy's cape) it's balanced and all. So nah it's not that much of a problem =)

The composition totally kicks ass ^^

Very good to be a WIP =)
The cape is very nice with the shadows and highlights. The (almost) completely dark blade is a nice effect too (but gets a little lost in the overall darkness of the picture).
The only thing that irritates me and I hope you will do before it's completed is giving the ?demon?'s forehead some texture, now he reminds me of some winged alien (and that's not good ;) )

Its awesome! I would suggest to make the "monsters" head a bit less smooth, more ruged to make his appearence stronger and more meanecing

That's awesome. The creature does look a bit much like the alien from the film Alien though. But with wings :P

To me, I don't think it's too dark at all. It has a very nice atmosphere to it. The dark colours really contribute to the mood. Something about the creature bugs me though. He seems to be facing us rather than... at the guy pointing the sword thinger mabobber. ^_^; Maybe it's just me.
